Melissa Haessly

Melissa Haessly is a Loan Officer and Vice President with the American Bank. She graduated from the University of Oshkosh, with a Bachelor’s degree in finance. After graduation, she moved back to her hometown and accepted her first job offer from the American Bank, where she now has almost 30 years of experience in the area of lending.

In 1993, Melissa started as a loan clerk, was promoted to Loan Officer and Asst. Vice President in 2001 and then to Vice President in 2004.

Melissa is happy to be working for the American Bank, a community bank in the community she grew up in. For her, it’s about building a lasting relationship, not just a banking transaction and she enjoys walking her customers through every step of the process, with the goal of making the loan process an easy, seamless one.

She is committed to doing her best for what’s best for each of her customers and their unique circumstances.

Melissa is also an Ambassador of the Beaver Dam Chamber of Commerce and maintains active involvement in community events thru out the year.

In her spare time, she loves to golf along with traveling, being on a warm sunny beach, hiking, camping, listening to live music and spending time with her family and friends.
